"Central Polytechnic College is one of Kerala's premier technical institutions. The College is under the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Kerala and is affiliated to the State Board of Technical Examinations. Since the day of its inception in 1958, this college has been disseminating quality technical education and moulding technicians with expertise, attitude and responsibility. The college was started on the premises of the school of Arts (College of Fine arts, Palayam, Trivandrum). But today, it sprawls over 30 acres of land at Vattiyoorkavu, the place famous owing to the 1938 Vattiyoorkavu conference. At present, the college proudly offers Diploma courses and certificate courses in technical subjects. Our mission is to impart quality technical education to enable young Technicians to meet global challenges and to mould them into responsible citizens in the service of humanity.
